Martin Riggs Named New Director of Development for Saint Joseph-Mount Sterling Foundation
We are pleased to announce that Martin Riggs has been named the Director of Development for the Saint Joseph – Mount Sterling Foundation (SJMSF). With his past experience in development and corporate sales, Martin will be an excellent addition to the SJMSF mission and the core values of Saint Joseph Health System. Riggs, a native of Mount Sterling, previously served as the Director of Annual Giving for Campbellsville University and in corporate sales for Critchfield Wholesale. Riggs is assuming the position formally held by Chris Peck. He will begin on September 6, 2011.
Greg Gerard, interim President of SJMS said, “We are delighted to have Martin stepping into this very important position for the foundation. He knows the community and plans to develop exceptional working relationships with local leaders, the medical community and civic leaders throughout Montgomery County and the surrounding communities.”
Riggs is a graduate of Campbellsville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations. His father, Roger Riggs, is a practicing attorney in Mount Sterling and his mother, Ann is a retired from the Montgomery County Public Schools.
Riggs said, “I’m extremely proud to be a part of the Saint Joseph – Mount Sterling team and look forward to enhancing the mission through philanthropic support for much needed programs, services, equipment and technology. It’s exciting to be back in my hometown.”
