The Summer Teen Volunteer Program at Saint Joseph Hospital, Saint Joseph East and Saint Joseph Jessamine has numerous volunteer opportunities in patient-care and non-patient care areas. The program offers career experience and helps fulfill community service hour requirements for classes or clubs. Plus, volunteering enhances college or scholarship applications.
Teens can apply for the program and obtain more information at saintjosephvolunteers.org. Teens must be 14 years old by the end of June 2012 to participate in this program. Once 150 volunteer hours are earned, teens will be eligible to apply for a $1,000 scholarship! Call 859.313.1290 with any questions.
