Saint Joseph Health System is home to one of the nation's preeminent breast cancer treatment facilities, the Saint Joseph Breast Center. The Center affords you access to state-of-the-art clinical, diagnostic, rehabilitation and counseling services, all in one location.
Saint Joseph Breast Center has achieved a designation of an American College of Radiology (ACR) Breast Imaging Center of Excellence. By awarding facilities this status the ACR recognizes breast imaging centers that have earned accreditation in stereotactic breast biopsy and breast ultrasound with ultrasound guided biopsy in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program.
Our clinical breast cancer program takes a team approach to help patients. Key staff members - breast surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, geneticists, psychologists, nutritionists, social workers and nurses - meet weekly to review each new case and establish individualized treatment plans. Along with providing leading-edge treatment options, we excel at compassionate patient care, offering genetic counseling, post-surgical support, high-risk analysis profiles, and programs for nutrition and exercise.
