What is the mission of the Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation, Inc.?
Embracing the core values of Reverence, Integrity, Compassion and Excellence, the mission of the Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation is to support the hospital's ministry in building healthier communities in the tradition of the Sister's of Charity Nazareth.

How can my gift make a difference?
Your charitable gift supports programs and services that directly help our patients and their families.  Flaget would be unable to provide the high level of compassionate care it does today without your kind support.

Gifts to the Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation are tax deductible to the extent the law allows.  Checks should be made payable to the Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation.

How do I make a donation in honor or in memory of someone?
You can remember someone special by mailing your gift to the Foundation Office located at the hospital.  The mailing address is 4305 New Shepherdsville Road, Bardstown, KY 40004.  You can also call 502-350-5058 or make the gift online.  Please provide an address so the Foundation may send the acknowledgement to the person being honored or to the family the gift is in memory of.  A receipt will be mailed to you acknowledging your gift was received.s

Can I thank a doctor, nurse or healthcare provider at Flaget with a gift in their honor?
Yes.  Grateful Giving like this happens everyday at Flaget. The best way to say thank you to that someone for extra special care is with a gift to the Foundation.

Who determines how my gift is used?
You may designate your gift to be used however you wish. The Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation directly supports the hospital and programs and services that require continuous support and stays right here in Bardstown.   If you do not designate how your gift is to be used, it will go to the area of greatest need as determined by Foundation staff and Board of Directors.

Can Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation be named in an obituary?
Yes, your or family members may designate that in lieu of flowers you would prefer gifts be made to the Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation.  Simply include the foundation as your preferred charity for memorial gifts.  Sample language:  "In lieu of flowers memorial gifts made by made to the Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation, 4305 New Shepherdsville, Rd, Bardstown, KY 40004".

How do I include the Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation in my will?
The Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation is grateful for your Planned Gift arrangement. Many individuals have a desire to support a favorite charity but are unable to help as much as they would like.
