In December of 1998, Catholic Health Initiatives and Saint Joseph Hospital purchased Jewish Hospital Lexington and renamed it Saint Joseph East. Ten years later, it is now one of eight hospitals that make up Saint Joseph Health System.
The Women's Hospital at Saint Joseph East
Unlike any women's facility in the state, The Women's Hospital at Saint Joseph East is a state-of-the-art maternity building to open March 29, 2010. Featuring patient centered design and amenities, with the entire family's comfort in mind, it will offer the outstanding patient experience that Saint Joseph has always delivered. The facility will be dedicated exclusively to women's services.
Our Grand Opening Celebration will take place during the 11th Annual Maternity Fair on May 8, 2010.
