Supporting Local Food Saint Joseph - Berea appreciates the flavorful and nutritious value of homegrown produce. To show its support of local farmers who offer a variety of homegrown and organic foods and homemade products, and those who want to consume them, the hospital is partnering with the Berea Farmer's Market to serve as the exclusive sponsor. This sponsorship includes supporting the biweekly market, various materials including a Berea Local Foods Recipe Book and upcoming events such as the first annual Local Food Celebration.
The Berea Farmer's Market is open every Tuesday and Friday from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. through the first frost of fall behind the Promenade Gallery/Berea College Visitor Center between Center and Jackson Streets. For more information regarding this partnership or the Local Food Celebration, contact Greg Gerard at 859.986.6366. |
