Safe Practices

What we can do as an organization to keep patients from getting hurt or sick while in our hospitals
Keeping patients safe from harm is a top priority in healthcare.  The National Quality Forum has developed a list of 34 practices that promote this goal.  All Saint Joseph Health System facilities have policies in place that direct that we adhere to these standards.  We are developing methods of measuring and monitoring our compliance with these standards.
