Radiography (XRay) produces an image by passing small amounts of radiation through the body.
What is radiography used for?
Radiography is used in the evaluation of:
- pneumonia
- lung cancer
- fluid around the heart
- arthritic disease
- ulcers, tumors, blockages, stones
- chest abnormalities
Patient Instructions
For most XRay examinations, no specific preparation is required.
