Cardiac Rehabilitation

The American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology recommend cardiac rehabilitation to help patients of all ages recover after a heart attack or following heart surgery. Flaget Memorial Hospital provides a comprehensive Bardstown cardiac rehabilitation program that is fully staffed by registered nurses.

Our medically supervised exercise, nutritional counseling, psychological support and education helps patients achieve a maximum level of independence and return to their normal activities.

Ask your cardiologist or family physician if cardiac rehabilitation is right for you. Once prescribed by a physician, one of our professional associates can conduct an intake assessment.
