Clinical Dietitian

Nutrition counseling for prevention, treatment and recovery.

Dietary issues can arise at anytime during cancer care and have a significant impact on quality of life.  The Saint Joseph Cancer Center Resource Services' Clinical Dietitian is available to provide nutrition counseling before, during and after treatment.  She can conduct a thorough assessment and identify risks and needs:

  • Provide education about a prescribed diet
  • Provide information about vitamins, minerals and nutritional supplements
  • Make food recommendations to help alleviate symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, bowel changes, taste and smell changes.
