Pastoral Care

Spirituality has been a significant part of patient care at Saint Joseph Hospital since it's beginning over 125 years ago, when Sr. Catherine Spaulding began her ministry to the sick in Lexington. Today, the chaplains continue to carry out the spiritual aspect of this ministry as they offer spiritual support and comfort to the patients, families and staff. The chaplains represent various faith traditions and foster spiritual values for healing with all faith groups.
